Augh. So that last post... is a little embarrassing in retrospect, haha. I don't like to be a crybaby on here at all, and wouldn't have been if I hadn't messed up my ADD medication that day, which I have learned has the effect of turning me into an extremely emotionally unstable mess for the rest of the day. Soo yes, hopefully I will learn to stay away from the "Post an Entry" page on those days and we will have no more of that. :') Thank you guys for your sweet responses, though! <33


I think I wanted to write about other things in this entry too? I don't remember now, though. So, um, have some pictures I took of the snow in Leiden instead! They are from before Christmas, but since it's been snowing on and off since then anyway I have decided that they are still relevant. Enjoy!





Yuss, Apollinaire! One of the things I love about Leiden is all the poetry on the houses. It's so awesome and it makes me happy. You can read a bit more about it here if you are a nerd like me!









I have a bunch more that I really like, but I feel like those would look so much better after a minute or two of photoshopping, which I can't do right now cause I'm not on my own computer. So those are yet to come... some day, haha.

1. Okay so wow, talk about the longest death scene of all time. Good lord RTD, that went on for a good fifteen minutes! Honestly, it was just another one of his episodes full of complete gibberish to add to the pile but I'm so glad we're one step closer to 11/Moffat because after rewatching Coupling recently (and this) I'm more convinced than ever that it's going to be amazing.

This is the last photo I took in 2009 and I'll tell ya what, I couldn't be happier. Lord knows it could be better but I think it's my strongest so far and it's pretty much exactly the kind of photo I want to take. Actually lately I've been putting photos I wish I'd taken into a folder and browsing it in my spare time and I think the brilliance of those photos is rubbing off on me! Check out these three LotS caps (all in that magical folder) and look at how weirdly similar style-wise they are to what I took - completely unintentional!

Anyway, I'm really glad to have ended the year on a high. And it has been a fantastic year (well, for me at least. And from the sounds of things I'm the only one who liked it :P) I've been focusing a lot more on graphics and I feel like I've reached a whole other level because of that. Speaking of which, another resolution of mine is to continue doing the a graphic per day thing because I think that's really helped me, I can't recommend doing it enough!

I am currently celebrating at a_suitcase's place - her top floor apartment gave us an AMAZING view of the fireworks over Leiden, and now we're playing Mario Kart on her new Wii. To be honest this is excitement enough for me, haha. I am probably somebody's grandmother without even knowing.
